Harness Your Intuition

What is Intuition?

Your intuition is your connection between “You” and “You”.    The “You” that walks around on the earth plane, (asleep half the time), and the “You” that is more expansive.

Developing a stronger intuitive connection is all about working with your current senses that we all know about, and with the senses you didn’t even know you had.   Learn to “listen” and to perceive at a higher level.

However, it is not enough just to “be connected”. The next step is to learn what to do with that connection in order to make your life “work” for you.

Ultimately, what you are seeking is more control and awareness in your everyday life.    So that you can choose optimal experiences and greater growth opportunities.    And play, have fun, and laugh a lot more.

Accessing and Using Your Intuition is a Skill

Everyone has the ability to access their intuition to a level that can really assist them and help change their lives.

Each of the steps, or stages, of Harnessing Your Intuition is a skill set that can be developed.

We are ALL unique. And so are our Challenges.

  • Some people are great at shifting their vibration and accessing states of love and light that feel wonderful, but don’t know how to translate or interpret what they are “getting”. Thus they don’t know how to take all that wonderful energy and make it “work” for them..
  • Other people are great “translators” or interpreters, but can’t seem to find the time to sit still and actually access the higher vibrations. They may be great at getting things done, but they play small. They don’t always take the time to access the “highest and best” ideas.
  • Still others get fantastic ideas and insights but get caught up in all the choices and how to proceed with implementing these ideas into real life. They get “stuck”.

What we all have in common is an ability to really make our lives work if we could master – or at least improve – our skill sets in each of these four areas:

  1. Perception and Awareness
  2. Interpretation/Translation – Understanding
  3. Discernment – Choosing Wisely
  4. Taking Appropriate Action

How do we access it?

The simplest of our “intuitive” senses to understand are simply an extension of our physical senses.  i.e. being able to see or hear beyond the spectrum that most humans can (animals can, why can’t we?).:

Short Answer: Practice Using Your Physical Senses!

  1. Listen. Identify different Sounds.
  2. Taste. Try new flavours. Combinations.
  3. Smell the flowers,
  4. Touch. Rough, smooth, soft, hot, cold…?
  5. See. Really look at things. Details matter.

Some other senses that you have probably not spent as much time developing in this lifetime have more to do with sensing less tangible things.   We often refer to it as sensing “Energy”.

Energy is everywhere.   And energy has various qualities.  And it is ever-changing.  It is often fluid.  Much like water.  It can have different densities.   It can come in waves, or it can be calm and still.    If you hit it at high speeds it can feel like a rock.  If you just “slip in”, it can part seamlessly.    You can learn to “feel” energy with your body, and with your hands.   It just takes awareness, and a little practice…

Expand Your Awareness

Our surroundings and how we perceive them impact our experiences.   To ignore our senses and thus our surroundings is a choice NOT to be in the driver’s seat.  It is like sitting in the back of the bus.  We are all going somewhere, but from the back we can’t really see much of where we’re going.  In this scenario, we have very little control over our experience.

Control Your Experience

As you “play” with your intuitive abilities, and realize the potential that you really have – to sense and interact with your surroundings. You will realize how much more control you can have as you drive your own “vehicle” through life.

Create Your Own Future

When you place yourself in the Drivers Seat of your life, you are in a much better position to create the life you want. This comes in stages. Baby steps. First, practice making small things in your life work more smoothly for you. As you master these skills, you can then expand out to much larger projects. Dare to Dream. and to Envision your highest and best future!

Practice Makes Perfect

Learning to drive your own vehicle takes time.  You start with something smaller, and maybe drive it in a controlled environment.. like say a parking lot.   As you get more confident, you take it out on the roads.   But perhaps, initially, you try to avoid stressful situations like rush-hour traffic.  The more you drive your own vehicle, the more confident your become.  The more relaxed you will feel.  The more opportunity you will have to look around you as you go.  The more you will see.  The more you will experience.

Make the Journey Fun

Developing your intuition can be a joyful experience.  Like every skill you have ever learned, you must practice.  But, if that sounds like work to you, we will re-phrase the sentence.  If you were a 7-year old child, I would simply suggest that we play some games.  Specific games.  Where you are being challenged a little, you’re having fun, and you don’t even realize you’re actually learning something very important.

This is what we would refer to as a baby step.  It’s free.  It’s fun.  And there is very little commitment on your part.   If you do the exercises, you will learn something.   And by realizing that you actually can do this, you actually do have some intuitive “strong points”, you will likely be inspired to dive in work on those strengths in a larger way.

  • What are your strongest Intuitive Senses?
  • How do you become more Intuitive?
  • Are you already more intuitive than you realize?

Each day for the next 7 days, an email will be delivered to your inbox with a brief description of the area we will be working with that day, and then you will given a short exercise to play with.   It should take no more than 5-7 minutes of your time to read or listen to the exercise instructions.  How much time you spend doing the daily exercise is up to you!

See

When you look at things, what do you see? What kinds of exercises or games could you play to enhance your ability to observe?

Hear

How can sound be used intuitively? Why is our sense of hearing so important to expanding our awareness?

Smell

We use our sense of smell more than you might think. Smells can give us clues and help us identify objects, people, and things.

Taste

Taste can affect our mood and of course the enjoyment of the food we eat. How do you enhance your ability to taste?

Feel

Our skin is our largest organ. Touch is very important. Beyond physical touch, comes our ability to sense energies.
