It has never been easier to start your own business. There are more tools available for an individual starting out than any time in recorded history. Imagine 1 Million People creating their own products and services,.. creating what people WANT. When customers are presented with better alternatives, they WILL choose them. Yes, some people are resistant to change, and will stick with the “old” for awhile, but all you need is that “tipping point” – only about a 10% adoption rate, and the world will not look back. The world will change without a revolution,… without any wars. The world will change because the people of the planet have new choices. And they will “vote” with their choices. Given time, it will “topple” the old energy world.
Independent Entrepreneurs are:
- Far more responsive to what people want. They have to be.
- Far more ethical. Because they are more visible.
- Provide choice for the people. No two business or products are exactly alike.
- Positively Innovative. More minds working to solve problems makes solutions come sooner.
There is A LOT we didn’t learn in school
We are all just learning that we spent years and years in school and didn’t learn a single thing about some of the most important skills we needed to have in order to be successful in life. If we were lucky, we came across one or two wonderful mentors in our lifetime who taught us plenty. And how did they learn what they needed to know? From life experience. Trial and error. Finding a good mentor, or a good teacher, cuts down on time wasted re-learning things the hard way. Someone else has already learned this. Why not learn from them?
The world needs more teachers and mentors
If we learn how to be good teachers/mentors, we can learn how to effectively teach others to avoid the same disasters that caught us up. When we are all doing this, the growth of the next generation will be explosive!
Think about all the hardships you’ve experienced in your life, and as you were looking for a way out, you finally came across someone else who went through the same experience, and you were able to compare notes. How much quicker were you able to process that experience once you found someone to talk to about it? What if someone decided to build a website on it? Where people could share stories. And then others became more educated. And then more people started offering their own unique solutions. And then someone offered counselling, or self-help workshops. And through this sharing of experiences, being candid with each other, and offering support and advice – lives were transformed. Where would these people be if they hadn’t come across that resource? It put them on the fast track. It got them out of a pitfall much, much quicker. We are here to help each other. We are here to give each other a “leg up”. Why not do it?
Yes, But Can/Should We Make a Living In This Way?
We see examples of this all over the internet now. Those who had the courage to put themselves out there. To tell their storey. To offer assistance to others. And eventually it blossomed into a business.
People are willing to pay for knowledge and experience that will change their lives.
- People are willing pay for things that will keep them from harm.
- People are willing to pay for what brings them joy and fulfilment.
- And people will pay for ideas and systems that will put them on the fast track to a “successful” life.
Why wouldn’t they? I would. I do. I am always willing to pay for the benefit of someone else’s knowledge and experience in an area I desire to know about but have very little experience in.
It’s like visiting a foreign country. In the very least I would like a map. Better yet, maybe for at least a day or two I’d like the wisdom of a local tour guide to show me around and point important stuff out. It saves a lot of time and energy. Yes, I could eventually figure this stuff out on my own. But why? Why waste that time when I can benefit from someone’s else’s wisdom? It’s my vacation. I want to enjoy it not have my head bogged down in the sand trying to “figger stuff out”.
We do not live forever. And we are here to live our purpose. We charge for imparting our knowledge and experience that others desire, and we pay others for them imparting their knowledge and experience that we desire. Everyone grows. Everyone is happy. And the quality of our lives improves as we are constantly learning new skills. We are not struggling. We are finding help. And we are providing help.
And for even greater success, why not collaborate?
We are no longer competitors. Someone may have the same idea as you. They may even have a very similar product to you. But you are unique. And they are unique. You will draw different customers. And sometimes you will even “share” a customer. Most people buy from more than one person when they are trying to learn something new. They find additional perspectives helpful. For example, two different healing modalities can be very complimentary. Most people, when they start to learn about energy, take more than one course in healing and energy. If two people were to cross-market each other’s work, they could almost double their customer volume. Even though they may have “similar” products.
In many “old” countries, shops selling similar wares would open up right next to each other. Not to destroy each other. But to make the shopping experience for the customer easier. If a customer wanted shoes, they went to the “shoe district”. If they wanted pottery, they went to the “pottery district”.
If you have confidence in your product, and in your own unique gift that you bring to the table, then no-one is a competitor. They compliment you. Further, if you like what someone else is doing, you can also collaborate on a new product or idea, that adds value to your main product area. This creates value to the customer, and cuts the workload in half for each person.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life
Becoming an entrepreneur, and getting your message out there in a way that sustains you financially, can be a very rewarding experience. But it is not something you can do overnight. There are steps that you can take. And each day, as you take these steps, you will find yourself that much closer to your goals. To living your life purpose
If you aren’t ready to take that plunge quite yet, you can still be of assistance to the movement, and help yourself at the same time. Begin by observing what others are doing. Learn from them. Their successes. Their mistakes. And provide constructive feedback as to what works for you and what doesn\’t.
As the world changes, make an effort to do what you can to make the transition run that much smoother.
- If you don’t like something and/or and think that someone is somehow being unethical, perhaps some alerts to your fellow consumers is in order. But make sure you are correct before you start destroying someone’s business. Research the issue a bit before you send out the warning bells. But in a planet of free choice, it is good to share your experiences with others, good and bad.
- If you come across products or services that you think could be improved, remember, some of these people are working alone, and could really use some help and assistance. If you like them, offer them some helpful feedback on how they can improve before publicly admonishing them. Give them the opportunity to “up their game”.
- Finally, if you come across something you really enjoy and really benefit from, sing these praises to the world. Allow the entrepreneur to be noticed. So others can find them. You are not just helping the entrepreneur, you are helping those who are pursuit of the “solution” that is being offered, and you are helping those who are destined to learn from them as their mentors. There are many moving parts.
Remember, we’re all in this together. And together we will change the world. Not through strife. But by offering people what they want. What they need. And what will make them better people. So they, too, can get out of the mud and help change the planet.
